Shyla is a beautiful black lab. She excels in obedience class. She is fostered with another lab and cats. She enjoys playing with her foster brother. Shyla needs a home that will continue work with her on her training and keep up her exercise. She will be a wonderful companion to the right home. Shyla has been diagnosed with hypothyroidism. This is a minor medical disorder that can be easily treated with daily medication which costs less than $20 per month. She will need to be on this medication the rest of her life and will need annual blood draws to check her thyroid levels. This is a fairly common medical disorder in mature female dogs. < Adoption fees are $135 for a dog that has been spayed/neutered. Otherwise, the fee is $85 plus a $50 deposit to be returned to adopter once dog has been spayed/neutered. Our adoption contract requires all dogs to be spayed/neutered within one month of adoption.
