We have taken into our care four foxhound/lab mix male puppies. The puppies weigh between approximately 15 lbs to 20 lbs each. They all have predominantly black fur with some white varying on each puppy. They are all playful, affectionate, and healthy. They will make wonderful pets. May 13th Foster Home Update - Simon has been in our home for two weeks. When he arrived, he was very afraid of everything and only wanted to be in his kennel. Over the past two weeks, more and more of his playful, energetic personality has come out. He loves to play fetch and jump for the ball. I think he would love to learn how to catch Frisbees. However, I would not recommend him being off leash unless in a fenced in area; if something scares him, he will bolt. My two 9-year old dogs have helped him quite a bit to adjust to the different noises and sights. When he is scared, he will look to my dogs to see if everything is ok. He is a very nice pup that needs a patient loving home to teach him that life can be fun and exciting and not scarey. Adoption fees are $135 for a dog that has been spayed/neutered. Otherwise, the fee is $85 plus a $50 deposit to be returned to adopter once dog has been spayed/neutered. Our adoption contract requires all dogs to be spayed/neutered within one month of adoption.If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out a pre-adoption application.
