March 6th Foster Home Feedback My name is Buddy. Mom tells me that there are pictures of me on this website but they dont do me justice. She says I am such a handsome boy and I have really good manners. I am not sure what that means but she always tells me that and gives me a treat afterwards. I like to sleep on the floor next to my foster mom & dads bed at night and sometimes they will put me in a kennel during the day for a little while. I dont think she realizes that I know how to shove my paw through the door and unlatch it, because I always get out and lay on the floor next to it. It kind of scares me to be in there if no one is home but I am ok with it if someone is in the room with me. Mom says I will get better at staying in my kennel as time goes on. I dont mess on the floor or anything so I think she lets me roam the house freely because of that. February 11th Foster Home Feedback I just wanted to let you know that "Buddy" is doing great so far. He is a very well behaved boy. He kenneled last night just fine, barks at the door when he wants to go out, doesn't jump up, didn't show any aggression with ANY of the three dogs, didn't even bother with the two cats, took a bath fine (just stood there) and let me completely bath him and didn't try to jump out until I asked him too. He was however ferociously hungry, he gobbled down about two full cups of food and then threw it up, we gave him another cup about an hour later and he gobbled that down too but kept it down for awhile but then threw up again about an hour later. He has been drinking water but as of right now, he won't eat just drinks a little water. Oh and he is not showing any food aggression toward the other animals nor us, he wags his tail when he inhales it. Hopefully it's just nerves. He's poopin tho lol. ;). I hope to get his weight up soon, he is so so skinny the poor little guy. Adoption fees are $135 for a dog that has been spayed/neutered. Otherwise, the fee is $85 plus a $50 deposit to be returned to adopter once dog has been spayed/neutered. Our adoption contract requires all dogs to be spayed/neutered within one month of adoption.If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out a pre-adoption application.
